38 grams of cocaine and 10 grams of heroin. This is the amount of drugs found on a person of Nigerian origin, Saturday night, by the Valledoria Carabinieri. The thirty-five-year-old, stopped at a checkpoint by the military, was hiding the drugs in a backpack and allegedly tried to escape . The prosecutor has requested for the non-EU citizen, defended by the lawyer Francesco Sasso, the obligation to remain in his residence and to report to the judicial police.

Judge Sara Pelicci ordered the daily signature requirement. The man had already been arrested in 2019 together with a woman, in a maritime port in the south of the island , for having ingested 33 ovules of cocaine while she had 20 in her stomach.
