Doors open at Decimomannu military airport
The initiative for the anniversary of the birth of the Italian Air Force
On Wednesday 27 March, on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Air Force, an "Open Day" will be held at Decimomannu airport.
It will be an opportunity to see the airport from the inside and visit various stands dedicated to the various daily activities of the Department.
A static exhibition of M346 Jet aircraft and HH139 helicopters will be set up in the Hangar area. The exhibition rooms which host memorabilia and photographic documentation, historical memory of the Air Force in Sardinia, will also be open to visitors.
On this occasion it will also be possible to support a fundraiser in favor of the National Opera for the Children of Aviators organized by the sections of the Air Force Association of Cagliari and San Gavino Monreale.
