The victim was a 55-year-old woman, the person responsible - a 25-year-old originally from Ghana - pretended to be an Italian Post Office operator on the phoneThe Carabinieri of the Dolianova station have reported a twenty-five-year-old originally from Ghana but resident in Reggio Emilia, unemployed and with a criminal record, for aggravated fraud.
The young man, posing as an Italian Post Office operator, called a 55-year-old from Dolianova telling her that her prepaid card had been cloned.
Therefore, to "solve" the problem, he would have had to transfer all the contents, around 2 thousand euros, to another Postepay card, obviously his.
The Carabinieri reached him through the collaboration of their Emilian colleagues. In the meantime, however , the account had, unfortunately, been completely emptied.
