The Sardinian parliamentarian of the League, Dario Giagoni, jokes on social media about his speech made in recent days in Santa Teresa Gallura, his hometown.

The representative of the Northern League is referring to a video that went viral last year, when in July the former showgirl went out of her way to block the (little) traffic to prevent a turtle from being run over.

Giagoni did the same while riding his bike: "He was in a hurry," the deputy emphasizes, speaking of the animal, "who knows: maybe he had a romantic date."
