Decimomannu, the woman struck by bike on the 130 dies

Greca Melis , the 72-year-old who was hit on state road 130 in Decimomannu, near the junction for San Sperate, did not make it. The accident occurred today, late in the morning. The woman was crossing the street on her bicycle to reach her home.

The injuries sustained after the impact with a Fiat Punto were very serious. Transported by air ambulance to Brotzu in Cagliari, she arrived at the emergency room in desperate conditions . He then died in intensive care a few hours after arriving at the hospital.

The impact occurred in a point already in the sights of residents, considered high risk because there is no pedestrian crossing.
