Eighteen experts from all over Italy and around 400 participants at the annual EnerLoc event which was held in the conference room of the Sassari Chamber of Commerce .

The 17th edition focused on the climate emergency and the deadlines of European, technology, research and infrastructure objectives, with particular regard to the energy transition.

Among the reports, the analysis of the EU Directive on green homes and sustainable urban regeneration, discussed by Giovanni Cardinale (Co-founder of GPA Partners), and of the national innovation strategy addressed by Marcello Capra (SET Plan delegate of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security).
A broad focus was dedicated entirely to Sardinia , to the complicated path of decarbonisation and the achievement of European objectives, to projects on alternative and renewable energy, to financing, to research and to the need to invest in the development of technologies and infrastructures capable of unlocking the use of production from renewable or alternative sources. The latter are interdependent elements which slow down the virtuous path which, despite many critical issues, the island is pursuing - as underlined by Alessandro Naitana, general director of the Industry Department of the Sardinia Region - also through substantial investments in renewable energy, urban regeneration and energy communities together with the commitment to respect the objectives and the search for sustainable alternatives also in economic and social as well as environmental terms.
A path that cannot do without research to optimize means and results, as underlined by Maria Assunta Serra , general director of Sardegna Ricerche.

Another fundamental element in this scenario, which refers to a real supply chain system, is the system of access to credit and special financing, with important investments, tenders and programs in Sardinia itself, a point of analysis by Maurizio Barnabè, Corporate Director of Mediocredito Centrale and Paola Del Fabro, manager of Banco di Sardegna, with the banking institutions on the front line always attentive to the needs of the territory in this process of great transformation.
