An operation by the State Police of the Alghero Police Station led to the arrest of three people of Spanish nationality, but of South American origin , believed to be responsible for the possession of illicit substances for the purpose of dealing.

The three were intercepted in a key area of the city and found in possession of approximately 200 grams of cocaine intended to feed the local drug dealing circuit.

During the operations , over 22 thousand in cash was also seized, believed to be the proceeds of the illegal activity.

The arrested were immediately taken to the Bancali prison where they will remain at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
