Investigations into the death of Mario Mulas continue. The validation interviews of Ilaria Gaviano, 39 years old , and Ciprian Baicenau, a 46-year-old Romanian, will be held tomorrow morning. The two, arrested by the Cagliari Flying Squad, are accused of robbery as part of the investigation into the death of the 75-year-old found dead on Sunday morning in the square of the family business in Viale Elmas in Cagliari. The tragic end after a flight from the window of the house where he often stayed.

Before prosecutor Rita Cariello the two, defended by lawyers Carlo Demurtas and Massimo Bitti, admitted yesterday to having stolen and fled in the victim's van. But regarding the dynamics of the death, the 39-year-old specified that " when we left he was sleeping ", and both rejected any involvement with what happened then. During the validation interrogation, however, they could provide further useful elements to clarify the still unclear points of the story. Other ideas could come from the new necropsy tests requested by the Prosecutor's Office, which has not yet returned the body to the family.

While awaiting the appointment of any party consultants, the new exams have not yet been scheduled. These will be used to verify the presence of other hematomas or wounds on the man's body attributable to an attack or defense. The autopsy specifically revealed injuries related to the fall from the window. The two - according to a possible reconstruction - after having taken the keys to the van, the mobile phone and other personal belongings of Mulas stolen from the house, may have locked him in a room and the man, in an attempt to escape from the window, would have fallen into the void.
