A restaurant in Cagliari is the protagonist - in a negative way - of "Operation NAS", the DMax program focused on the activity of the Anti-adulteration unit of the Carabinieri.

In the last episode broadcast on first TV on Friday evening, a thorough inspection was shown inside the venue, where the military not only found irregularities, but also made discoveries that were disgusting to say the least.

The list of violations is long: untraceable food, overflowing freezers, scooters parked in kitchens. But what disconcerted the Nas of the Sardinian capital was above all the discovery of numerous dead cockroaches, probably not removed after a disinfestation.

Result: 120 kg of food ended up seized and the owners were fined almost 5,000 euros.

Furthermore, the Nas ordered the closure of the restaurant for a week . The time needed for the owners to bring everything back up to standard and carry out remediation and cleaning before obtaining, after a new inspection, the OK to resume business.
