Unipol Domus celebrated last night for the victory against Sassuolo. It's a shame, however, that once the stadium's light towers were turned off, the light around the sports facility was almost non-existent, with fans forced to grope in the dark to get home. Controversy and discontent are inevitable, with season ticket holders and residents forced to live in a situation that is no longer new. From the Municipality, in the aftermath of the rossoblù victory, they announced that " the entire area is the subject of an important redevelopment project which will start next spring ".
«This morning - we read in the press release from Palazzo Bacaredda - the technicians of the municipal administration carried out an overall check regarding the lighting in front of the football stadium. The surrounding area appears to be functional , with only some armor turned off . The malfunction recorded yesterday, Monday 11 December, is attributable to the disconnection of a switch which was promptly reset by the on-call maintenance technician . And it is also worth highlighting that the technical time between the call and the intervention was the minimum necessary. The "Heart parking" part is switched off and troubleshooting operations are underway. It is likely that the problem is due to underground cables and loosening in some sections."
«For public safety – continues the note – in view of the home matches of Cagliari Calcio, the objective of the municipal administration is to increase maintenance supervision of the functioning of the malfunctioning part of the lighting system. The entire area is the subject of a major redevelopment project which will start next Spring. Financed with funds for urban regeneration, the works have already been awarded."
