Record of swabs and record of new Covid infections in Sardinia.
In the bulletin released by the regional authorities on Wednesday 29 December 2021, 771 additional confirmed cases of coronavirus positivity are recorded on the island, identified on the basis of 5209 people tested. A total of 18,203 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic, for a positive rate of 4.2%.
As for hospitals, the number of hospitalized patients is increasing: three more in 24 hours in intensive care (for a total of 15) and 6 more in the medical area (for a total of 142).
On the other hand, there are 6306 cases of home isolation (558 more than yesterday).
Unfortunately, there is a new victim: it is an 86-year-old woman residing in the province of Oristano.
Exactly one year ago - on 29 December 2020 - the daily bulletin for the island recorded 116 new cases and 7 deaths ( All data ).
