The descent of the new cases of Covid in Sardinia continues.

However, there are four more deaths and the number of people hospitalized in ordinary wards still rises.

With over 10 thousand swabs performed in 24 hours, the positivity rate stands at 7.8%.

Here is the full bulletin released by the Region on Sunday 23 January 2022: “In Sardinia today there are 795 further confirmed cases of positive COVID, on the basis of 3,391 people tested. A total of 10136 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.

There are 30 patients admitted to intensive care units (like yesterday).

There are 287 patients admitted to the medical area (twelve more than yesterday).

22,303 are the cases of home isolation (225 more than yesterday).

There are 4 deaths: 1 man aged 49 and one aged 92, residing in the province of Sassari; a 74-year-old woman, residing in the province of Oristano, and 1 woman of 89, residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari ".
