The infections from Covid-19 in Sardinia return to rise.
In the last 24 hours, almost a thousand have been registered, while the victims of the epidemic on the island between yesterday and today were 5.
With over 5,800 swabs, the positivity rate stands at 15.7% .
Here is the bulletin released by the Region on Thursday 26 May 2022 : “In Sardinia today there are 913 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity (yesterday 864, ed), of which 778 diagnosed as antigenic). A total of 5803 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.
There are 11 patients admitted to intensive care units (same figure as yesterday).
The patients admitted to the medical area are 159 (- 11).
17793 are the cases of home isolation (- 473).
There are 5 deaths (same number as yesterday, ed): two women aged 90 and 93 and two men aged 71 and 83, residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, and a 71-year-old man residing in the province of Southern Sardinia ”.
