Counterfeiting: over 60 bags with false signatures seized in Alghero

More than 60 well-known counterfeit bags were seized by the Guardia di Finanza on the Alghero seafront.

One person has been charged.

The yellow flames have identified the man who was selling leather goods displayed on a white sheet, on the road that runs along the coast of the Catalan town. He was unable to justify the origin of the goods or provide purchase documentation.

The military ascertained that the 62 bags deceptively reported well-known fashion brands such as "Michael Kors", "Chanel", "Prada" and "Yves Saint Laurent" and seized them. They also searched the vehicle used by the man and his home where a further 20 leather goods were recovered.
