New mockery of territorial continuity to and from Sardinia: companies will have to add VAT when calculating the subsidized fares, a circumstance which cancels out the discounts linked to the drop in fuel prices.

A detail worth between 4 and 5 euros per ticket (the rate is 10%).

In recent weeks, the General Directorate for Airports and Air Transport has established that from the next winter aviation season - from the end of October to the end of March - the total count of flights under the subsidized regime will undergo some changes. Connections between the Sardinian airports (Cagliari, Alghero and Olbia) and Fiumicino will cost 41.69 euros, compared to 45.47 euros now. The routes between the island and Linate will instead drop from the current 54.80 euros to 50.24 euros.

In addition to airport taxes (between 16 and 33 euros depending on the departure airport), which have always been in force, this time the prices indicated are to be understood as "VAT excluded".

The companies therefore recalculated the tariffs, adding 10% value added tax.
