«The season is upon us, but we have no certainties about the management of the factories ». The new alarm among Sardinian seaside resorts was relaunched during the meeting organized in Cagliari by the Sib (Italian seaside resort union) which refers to Confcommercio . The entrepreneurs made an appeal to the Region: « We need the extension of the concessions for 2024 and 2025 to be able to make investments and plan the necessary interventions. All this while waiting for the structural solution that can satisfy the Bolkestein directive."

The national president Antonio Capacchione intervened and indicated the possible point of balance: «In Italy and even more so in Sardinia , the principle of resource scarcity cannot be enforced . There is space on our beaches for new concessions without compromising existing ones. It is the point to be made in the comparison with the European Union to arrive at a definitive solution to an issue that has affected the activity of seaside resorts in Italy for too many years. The future of consolidated companies that ensure services and jobs and which now call for rapid responses is at stake."

The vice president of Sib Alberto Bertolotti and the regional president Claudia Comida also participated in the meeting. In the video the statements of Antonio Capacchione and Claudia Comida.
