Solidarity works and has no borders. The mobilization to lend a hand to Stefano Pili, the farmer from Villaspeciosa who two weeks ago lost his company, destroyed by flames, is great. The mayor Gianluca Melis ( HERE THE NEWS ) launched a fundraiser on the internet.
Donations were numerous. One, in particular, struck the mayor, who decided to publish the banknote (50 euros) and the letter delivered to the town hall by Gabriele, «born in Ferrara 72 years ago. I followed the story of the young farmer through Videolina and I gladly participate in the solidarity competition».
The old man promises himself " to come and visit your country, I hope that soon you can toast to rebirth", he writes.
"Solidarity has no age or boundaries", writes the mayor, "it is simply fantastic".
