The victims of the accident on state road 291 - between Sassari and Alghero - near the junction for Tottubella have risen to three.
The tragedy seems to have been caused by a risky overtaking, but the dynamics are still to be clarified. Surely there was a Mercedes traveling which collided with a Fiat 600. The impact was devastating. Then a third car hit the two crashed cars.

The Alghero carabinieri, the firefighters and a patrol from the Sassari flying squad were on site. In hospital, at Santissima Annunziata, in code red, a family from Cagliari, husband, wife and their ten-year-old daughter.
