Perhaps a lack of right of way was the cause of the serious road accident which occurred late this morning at the intersection between Provincial roads 11 and 12, between Riola Sardo and Narbolia. Two people were injured in the impact, a girl was transferred under code red to the San Martino hospital in Oristano.

The collision between a Renault Twingo, driven by an 80-year-old man, and a Ford Fiesta, driven by a 30-year-old girl, was very violent: the Fiesta went off the road and the woman was more seriously injured. The 118, SEA and Red Cross ambulances intervened on site: after initial treatment on site, the two injured were accompanied to the San Martino emergency room.

Fire brigade teams and law enforcement agencies also intervened on the provincial road and carried out investigations to ascertain any responsibilities.
