In Cagliari a new record : citizens are the most satisfied - at a national level - with the air they breathe.

This is revealed by the data collected by the new Changes Unipol research, created and elaborated by Ipsos , on the opinion of Italians on the state of the art of cities in terms of environmental sustainability. It therefore turns out that almost one out of two Cagliari citizens (48%) is very satisfied with the quality of the air they breathe in the city . And this is the best data recorded in Italy (the national average is equal to 30%). The percentage of people who, on the other hand, consider it insufficient would be close to 11%.

In the last two years, however, there has been a deterioration . 17% of Cagliaritans say so, while 65% do not notice any differences. Speaking, however, of the urban green areas available, six out of 10 Cagliari citizens declare themselves satisfied with the quantity of parks, tree-lined areas, flowerbeds, neighborhood gardens available. If the air and green areas pass the exams with flying colors, the same thing does not happen to green mobility . The Sardinian capital – according to 30% of the interviewees – would in fact be one of the cities with fewer electricity columns near the citizens. 60% of Cagliari citizens are oriented towards preferring travel by car to the detriment of light and sustainable mobility. The hypothesis of cities running at 30 km/h almost splits the Italian population in half, but Cagliari is one of the most favorable cities with 60% of yes.
