"The air conditioning system is working properly," clarified the city councilor for education, Simone Prevete, after several mothers reported the situation at the preschool on Via Campania.
Families had reported cold classrooms upon returning from Christmas break on January 7th, claiming that their children had been forced to attend classes in poorly heated rooms. This discomfort, according to the mothers' accounts, was also confirmed by the teachers, who, despite no official communication from the school, had suggested dressing their children warmer.
Prevete explains that "After the prolonged closure, the classrooms had become freezing, and the freezing temperatures of recent days have made it difficult for the air conditioners to quickly recover heat, even with the temperature set at 30 degrees."
A situation expected to resolve shortly. "With the regular operation of the systems and the gradual rise in temperatures," Prevete concludes, "the situation should return to normal within a few days."
