The resolution of Cipess (Inter-ministerial Committee for Economic Planning and Sustainable Development) has been adopted , allowing the allocation of over 2.7 billion for the development of Sardinia.

An act that follows the agreement, signed in Cagliari , between the governor and the prime minister Giorgia Meloni.

"A further step is being taken that will allow us to improve the quality of life of Sardinian citizens - comments Governor Alessandra Todde in a note -. With this resolution, which we hope will be published soon in the Official Gazette , we are getting closer to the implementation of our intervention program of FSC funds divided into five fundamental priorities: water, public buildings, roads, health and education , strengthening the foundations for sustainable and fair development of our territory".

In detail, the resources are divided as follows : 2.3 billion from the Development and Cohesion Fund (FSC) 2021-2027 and 415.8 million from the Revolving Fund. Adding the regional and local authority co-financing, the Region underlines, «the volume of use of resources on the territory is over 3 billion» .
