Cinzia Pinna's murder: Ragnedda confessed: "I killed her." Her body was found.

"I killed her." Emanuele Ragnedda confessed: during a lengthy interrogation at the Palau Carabinieri station , he indicated the location of the body of Cinzia Pinna, the thirty-three-year-old from Castelsardo who had been missing since September 11th. The remains were found near a tree on her estate in Conca Entosa. The hypothesis is that the woman was killed by at least one gunshot.

The situation of Ragnedda, 41, who is under investigation (along with a Lombardy resident) for murder and concealment of a corpse, worsened after an escape attempt: he had left the port of Cannigione this morning aboard a dinghy, but his vessel was found severely damaged. The winemaking entrepreneur was taken from his home on his estate in the countryside between Palau and Arzachena.

Here, as indicated by Ragnedda, the girl's remains were found.

The confession came after a lengthy confrontation with investigators, before Tempio Pausania prosecutor Gregorio Capasso and prosecutor Noemi Mancini. Ragnedda, defended by Luca Montella, relented and revealed the voluntary manslaughter.

The Cagliari RIS (Italian Investigative Service) has been working on the estate since this morning. They also found numerous traces of blood inside the house and in front of the entrance.

Not only that. The inspection revealed that Ragnedda had attempted to wash the sofa cushion covers, which he had then attempted to take outside, perhaps in an attempt to make some serious evidence against him disappear .

THE LAWYERS OF THE OTHER INVESTIGATED

"We hope that what has emerged demonstrates our client's innocence in this matter. He feels accused of a huge story without having the slightest idea of what happened."

This is according to lawyers Maurizio and Nicoletta Mani, who are defending the 26-year-old Lombard man accused of concealing a corpse, in collaboration with Ragnedda.

The alleged accomplice, from the very beginning, claimed to have no involvement in the incident. "But initially," the lawyers say, "Raggedda claimed to have been assisted by the twenty-six-year-old. But he had nothing to do with it."

"Emanuele Ragnedda is more than repentant. He presented himself before the Tempio Chief Prosecutor and his deputy, of his own free will: he recognized the authority of the State and entrusted himself to it."
