Child risks drowning in the municipal swimming pool of Baradili, taken to Brotzu by helicopter rescue

Tragedy touched this afternoon in the municipal swimming pool of Baradili , the tiny municipality of Oristano which has just 74 inhabitants.

A six-year-old boy nearly drowned and ended up at Brotzu, where he was flown by helicopter with a red code assigned.

According to initial information, the child was in the pool area with his family, then it is not clear exactly what happened: perhaps he fell alone in the pool and risked drowning, or was playing.

Immediately rescued by those present, the 118 doctors and the helicopter rescue arrived on the spot. When the baby was transported to the Brotzu he was conscious , he would not be in danger of life, even if further investigations are necessary.
