A dangerous wall. A trial opened yesterday in Sassari in which four people are accused of negligent personal injury and failure to perform work on buildings or constructions that threaten ruin.

It all started when, two years ago in Chiaramonti, a waste sorting worker tripped, while working, on a stone that had come loose from a dry stone wall and ended up on it with a fall that, in addition to causing other bricks to collapse, caused him a serious injury for which he had to stay away from his job for 40 days. And here, according to the prosecutor, the responsibilities of the owners of the land come into play because, despite the wall threatening to fall, they had not done the work to remove the danger, also constituted by the material present.

A conduct that, according to the prosecution, would have then caused the accident to the waste collection operator . The defendants are defended by the lawyers Manuela Tedde and Giovanni Antonio Fara, while the civil party is assisted by the lawyer Stefano Porcu.
