Seventy checked motorists, six tested positive on the breathalyser, with a blood alcohol level even four times higher than the permitted limit. This is the balance sheet of the patrolling carried out by the Sassari traffic police between 17 and 18 September.

Among the drunks there was also a 25-year-old who was involved in a car accident which, fortunately, only sustained minor injuries.

Most of the drivers stopped and sanctioned, according to Polstrada, are between 20 and 40 years old.
