Province of Cagliari: Drug, Driving Under the Influence and Weapons Withdrawal Reports

Night of extraordinary checks by the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Cagliari, who from yesterday evening until dawn today patrolled numerous urban centers and roads in the province to combat crime and ensure safety, particularly in the context of nightlife and road traffic.
During the service, over 200 people were identified and 140 vehicles were stopped, with several violations ascertained and related reports.
In the capital, two drivers were reported for drunk driving. They are a 39-year-old from San Gavino Monreale, found with a blood alcohol level higher than 1 gram per liter, and a 45-year-old of Nigerian origin, never in possession of a license and tested positive with a value over 0.80 g/l. The expected measures were triggered for both: withdrawal of the license (where present) and seizure of the vehicles.
In Guspini, the Aliquota Radiomobile fined a 53-year-old found driving with a blood alcohol level of 1.5 g/l. In this case too, the license was withdrawn.
In Decimomannu, however, a 46-year-old from Villacidro ended up off the road along provincial road 90 : he refused to take a breathalyser test and saw his vehicle seized and his license revoked.
In Villasimius, the military reported a 26-year-old from Cagliari for possession for the purpose of dealing . Stopped along the provincial road to Capo Boi, the young man was found in possession of five packages of cocaine, three marijuana inflorescences, thirteen fragments of hashish and over 500 euros in cash. The subsequent search of his home did not lead to any further seizures.
In Villamassargia, a 43-year-old reported his 72-year-old father-in-law for serious death threats. Pending investigations, the Carabinieri have ordered the precautionary withdrawal of the man's hunting gun license, seizing five 12-gauge shotguns and related ammunition.
All reports and administrative measures have been forwarded to the Judicial and Administrative Authorities for their competent assessments.
