A clarifying meeting would have put an end to the misunderstandings within Arnas Brotzu that arose as part of the emergency linked to the blackout that occurred in recent days ( HERE IS THE LETTER FROM THE DEPARTMENT DIRECTORS ). This can be read in a press release released by the company in which reference is made to the employees: «A cohesive team, which represents the great added value of the largest hospital on the island».
This afternoon the Department Directors met. «The result achieved - explains the note - is contained in the renewed pact which sanctioned the undisputed collaboration between the top management and the Board of Directors, a body of the Company also composed of Department Directors, whose function was reiterated to be fundamental, even more so in the management of critical situations. Respect for skills and responsibilities must never be questioned, a principle reaffirmed by the General Director, who during the meeting confirmed that the Company's intention for the future will be to deal with complex situations in perfect harmony with all the actors responsible for their resolution".
And, again, it is reiterated that «to overcome the difficulties that arise with increasing frequency, due to reasons often linked to factors external to the Company, there is a need for constant and constructive discussion, which allows us to identify the paths management and clinical management of Arnas in consideration of the uniqueness of the skills that operate there".
Finally, «the work that Arnas professionals carry out on a daily basis is commendable, and the unity of purpose is evident. It is precisely by virtue of this agreement that the joint request to the institutions emerged during the meeting for greater attention to the clinical critical issues that the company faces on a daily basis caused by the overcrowding of patients from all over the region".
