A tragic accident occurred in the Lanusei countryside. A man died while working on a piece of land in Maurusauru, an area on the outskirts of the town.

According to initial reports, the pensioner was crushed by a truck. Attempts to save his life were unsuccessful; he arrived dead at the emergency room. Officers from the Lanusei police station are investigating the case.
