The municipal council has approved a 1.7 million euro project to fix (or build from scratch) the accesses to the sea along the Castiadas coast.

«We are addressing – said the mayor Eugenio Murgioni – not only the issue of the accessibility of the beaches but also the protection of the environment». The commitment, in fact, "is to guarantee that every intervention is carried out in total respect of the natural context".

The project was drawn up by architect Simone Criscuolo and concerns the entire coast, from Santa Giusta to Cala Pira. Precisely in Cala Pira there will be particular attention towards the dune sector.
