The prison order has been signed for the former mayor of Carloforte, Marco Simeone, definitively sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for the crash of Sept Italia, the paint industry that went bankrupt in 2010 with a gap of about 10 million euros .

Over the weekend, the Cassation rejected the appeal of the defender, the lawyer Giovanni Manca, and a few hours later the deputy attorney general of Cagliari, Sergio De Nicola , ordered the Carabinieri of the Carbonia Company to carry out the sentence, which has now become irrevocable.

Already in the next few hours, the former mayor of the island of San Pietro could be traced and transferred to the Uta prison or appear spontaneously in one of the various prisons on the island.
