Carla Visentin, the 73-year-old Venetian tourist who disappeared a week ago in Cala Lupo , a town in Stintino, was found dead.
The searches were started on the afternoon of Sunday, July 14, by the carabinieri, firefighters of the provincial command of Sassari and men of the barracellare company of Stintino. The elderly lady was found by the group of Hunters of Sardinia in a grove, an inaccessible area, difficult to reach, not very far from the house where she lived .
She had arrived in Sardinia with her family on 14 July and in the afternoon she left the house where she was staying. The searches, started following the alarm raised by relatives, continued uninterruptedly until the lifeless body was found.
