The world of volunteering in Carbonia is in mourning: Gerolamo Agulli , one of the founders of the Pro loco Carbonia, but above all for over 25 years director of the Rotary Club with which, among the various and numerous philanthropic activities, he succeeded to organize and provide many scholarships for deserving students in Carbonia and the surrounding area: many of the students who benefited from the contributions managed to start and complete important study courses.
A former official of the Sulcis local health authority, he was also among the founders of the Sirai hospital club's sports club.
The funeral took place yesterday in the church of San Ponziano. Many certificates of condolence from the regional institutional world and volunteers.
