Carbonia, marble slabs fall and panels detach from buildings

In the first case , the teams had to intervene in the city centre, in Piazza Ciusa, due to the fall (which fortunately did not cause injuries) from a window on the first floor of a house above a bar . It so happened that at that moment (considering the weather conditions) there was practically no one in the immediate vicinity of the bar.

After that, however, the teams had to rush to via Dalmazia because the aluminum plates near the joints of the panels were about to detach from the street-facing facade of the building that houses the local health authority on the upper floors. A condition considered highly at risk for public safety. In this case, too, the policemen had no choice but to cordon off: a long stretch that goes from the edge of via Dalmazia, at the corner with Piazza Mistroni, almost to the entrance to the employment agency, is closed to pedestrians.
