He was injured in an accident on the Asse Mediano in Cagliari. Andrea Carcassi , a 55-year-old from Cagliari, died two weeks after being involved in a collision with a car while riding a scooter.

The accident occurred on May 23rd at the junction between Genneruxi and Viale Marconi, heading toward Pirri. After the impact, Carcassi's condition immediately appeared serious , and he was rushed to Brotzu Hospital, where he remained hospitalized.

News of his passing broke today. Messages of condolences have been pouring in online. Carcassi was well-known in the city, the owner of the Elios 96 flea market, which, according to the official website, will close its doors today.
