He was injured in an accident on the Asse Mediano in Cagliari. Andrea Carcassi , a 55-year-old from Cagliari, died two weeks after being involved in a collision with a car while riding a scooter.

The accident occurred on May 23rd at the Genneruxi-Viale Marconi interchange, heading toward Pirri. Following the impact, Carcassi's condition immediately appeared serious, and he was rushed to Brotzu Hospital, where he remained hospitalized.

News of his passing broke today. Messages of condolences have flooded online. Carcassi was well-known in the city, the owner of the Elios 96 flea market, which, according to the official website, will close today.
