In front of the school gates in protest. Approximately 250 students representing 20 classes of the scientific, sports and linguistic high school of the Paglietti Higher Institute of Porto Torres crossed their arms against the school management's decision to prevent access to the school car park , in via Bernini, for safety reasons .

"We are forced to park outside the square with the risk of theft and damage to our motorbikes, bicycles and scooters ", complain the students. "The motivations? Safety issues, they tell us, but by closing the gate they endanger the safety of the road invaded by our scooters exposed to damage."

Parking was prohibited following a report from a single union representative who communicated the risk situation, relating to the traffic of cars and other vehicles entering and exiting the internal square of the school , to the safety representative who asked for time to verify the state of the art and study an alternative solution.

Principal Daniele Taras adds: «It is a temporary situation that will find a solution shortly , but we cannot joke about the issue of safety, we need to protect the safety of people, especially students».

However, the student committee together with the representatives of the Institute decided not to join the protest and to attend the lessons, waiting for a solution to be reached. Outside the gates there was a chorus of complaints also about the malfunctioning of the heating system: "It works in fits and starts and lessons in the cold cannot be supported."
