Night of unsuccessful searches in Capoterra , where the Alpine Rescue teams went into action yesterday to track down a 54-year-old man whose traces have been lost.
The operations center of the Alpine Rescue was alerted by the Prefecture of Cagliari around 19.30 on Monday to start inspections in an inaccessible area of the Capoterra area, called Baccu Tinghinu.
The technicians, coming from the stations of Cagliari and Iglesias, inspected the whole area, following the countryside paths up to the locality of Is Olias.
The intervention ended around midnight, without giving any results .
The searches were carried out together with the personnel of the Fire Brigade, the Forestry and Environmental Supervision Corps, the volunteers of the Civil Protection of Capoterra, of the UCS Capoterra, of Rescue Dog, of the Grusap Poggio dei Pini and of the Misericordia of Capoterra.
