Slobodanka Metusev, the 48-year-old Serb killed last Sunday in Capoterra by her partner Stevan Sajn, 50, also of Serbian origin, bled to death.

According to the autopsy, the woman was hit with 18 slashes with a switchblade in the room she had shared with Sajn for just over a month in the Extraordinary Reception Center (Cas) for migrants.

The examination on the body was carried out today at the "Duilio Casula" Polyclinic by the medical examiner Roberto Demontis on the orders of the Public Prosecutor of Cagliari which opened an investigation into femicide.

Stevan Sajn, stopped with the bloody knife still in his hand, confessed everything. "I killed her, I killed her," he repeated in the interrogation. The man, heart patient, fell ill in front of the public prosecutor Diana Lecca , the defense lawyer and the carabinieri of the provincial command of Cagliari. After receiving the necessary treatment at the Monserrato Polyclinic, he was locked up in the Uta prison.

The crime, on Sunday, took place at the end of a violent dispute between the spouses. The 50-year-old Serbian allegedly hit her out of jealousy, after having snatched the cell phone from her hands to check the messages.

A few more details could come from the guarantee interview that should be held in the next few hours, probably tomorrow.
