Capoterra is preparing to welcome the Warrior Martyr with a series of cultural events. Second edition for “Waiting for Sant'Efisio”, the event created by the Municipality to celebrate the passage of its patron saint towards Nora.

The events will start on April 30th at 6pm with the celebration of a mass in the church of Su Loi, and the blessing of "sa tracca" who will take part in the procession on May 1st. Also at 6pm, at Casa Spadaccino, the photographic exhibition by Ornella Dessì dedicated to the saint will be inaugurated; followed by a round table with guest journalist and writer Paolo Matta, who will present his book “Efis mortu”: the meeting will be moderated by the head of the municipal library, Rita Atzori.

On May 1st, from 8.45am to 12pm, appointment with Sardinia soul trekking: the tourist and religious path of Sant'Efisio, starting from the church. From 10am to 10pm, at Casa Spadaccino, a festival of land and sea products: the day will end with a concert of traditional and contemporary music.
