By bike or on foot from Maddalena beach to Frutti d'Oro 2 without crossing the Strada Statale 195 : everything is ready for the start of the works for the construction of the project that will revolutionise the mobility of the residential areas on the coast of Capoterra.

The construction site will open its doors in the next few weeks , the work – financed thanks to the funds of the Integrated Urban Plan obtained by the Metropolitan City – must be delivered and tested by March 2026.

Silvia Sorgia, deputy mayor and councilor for Public Works and Territorial Cohesion, emphasizes the importance of the cycle/pedestrian path that will allow residents to move along the coastal stretch, avoiding the traffic on the Sulcitana artery : "This is a fundamental work for our territory, finally those who travel by bike or on foot will not have to face the dangers of the State Road 195, but will be able to do so using a path that runs along the sea. As requested by the Region, ecological materials will be used and beige was chosen as the color: furthermore, the entire path will be accompanied by the presence of trees. The dirt road of Su Loi will also be fixed with the work."

Sorgia highlights the great work of the municipal offices in the planning phase and underlines how the cycle/pedestrian path that will connect the residential areas of Maddalena spiaggia, Picciau subdivision, Frutti d'Oro 1 and 2 is a strategic work for the territory . «As soon as the work is completed, tourists and residents will be able to move along the coast safely and quickly, this project aims to achieve increasingly sustainable mobility».
