Cagliari, Zedda assures: «Two years of work for San Benedetto, now the market is here»

«We said that the temporary market would open on the 18th and the opening was guaranteed: the structure is functioning and there is ample parking».

This morning, Cagliari Mayor Massimo Zedda was among the customers who stormed the facility in Piazza Nazzari, where San Benedetto boxers have been transferred while they wait for the renovation work to be completed on the historic civic building.

Timing? "The redevelopment project will last two years: it has already begun, in terms of preliminary checks. We are talking to Enel," the mayor says, "because it is necessary to build the new electrical cabins."

Meanwhile, "the San Benedetto market is now here, with the same faces and the same excellent products."
