Cagliari, university theft: guard's guardhouse broken into

This morning, while students and teachers were in their classrooms as usual, unknown individuals broke into the guardhouse and tampered with the vending machines selling snacks and drinks, presumably to steal the money inside.

The alarm was raised shortly after the forced entry was discovered. Six police officers and two forensic investigators, equipped with gloves and bags, immediately arrived on the scene to collect evidence and conduct the necessary tests.

At this time, the exact extent of the theft is being determined. This is not the only suspicious incident reported in the area.

Not far away, at the Botanical Garden, an attempted theft is said to have occurred, which is also now being investigated by law enforcement.

Meanwhile, a growing sense of insecurity is spreading among students and university staff: "We were in the classroom when the police arrived," says one student, "and we saw forensic officers with gloves and bags. It's worrying to know that someone could gain access to the building so easily."
