A loud bang shook the tranquility of Pirri, shortly after 6pm. It was caused by the explosion of two cylinders which were in the courtyard of a house in via Camaldoli, on the outskirts of the municipality, not far from the dirt road in via Monte Cassino.

Luckily at the time of the explosion there was no one in the house and no injuries were reported: the explosion caused the collapse of a low wall.

The firefighters intervened on site to make the area safe.
