Tragedy at work this morning in the port of Giorgino in Cagliari : a vehicle used in the construction site opened right next to the beach of the Villaggio Pescatori ended up in the sea probably due to a wrong maneuver. The driver, 60-year-old Pasquale Piras from Maracalagonis, got stuck in the truck and died.
On the spot firefighters, with divers, 118 ambulances and police officers with the forensics. The president of the Port Authority also arrived in the site area.

The dynamics, as well as the causes, are still to be clarified. The only sure thing is that a truck driver died while doing his job .
