He skidded while driving his car and then ended up on the Via Pisano roundabout in Cagliari. Rescue efforts and attempts to resuscitate Silvana Santagati, 76, were unfortunately of no avail: the woman died before 118 could rush her to hospital. An illness was fatal to her.

Local police officers were on site and verified, also thanks to testimonies, that the woman had felt ill before crashing her car on a roundabout. So no accidents. Rescuers attempted to resuscitate her for some time and there was also hope of being able to transport her to hospital. Then the heart of the 76-year-old pensioner who lived at Cep stopped beating.

Shortly before, he was drinking coffee with a family member. The body was returned to relatives.
