The appraisals for the collapses in via Dettori in Cagliari are still pending in the absence of a visa from the Superintendence. The news – which is further alarming the residents – comes from a reliable source and rekindles the debate around the chaos that has arisen in the Marina: businesses, restaurants and clubs complain of a significant drop in business.

The cause is the blockage of the road, the historic "passillara", the promenade of Cagliari of the past, which for some time has become the hub of nightlife at the Marina.

The interdiction to pedestrians, complete with barriers, of the stretch from Piazza Mario Aramu towards Piazzetta Savoia, the epicenter of the danger, with the facades of the buildings full of cracks, has accelerated the crisis, with temporary and definitive closures also of activities with a volume of business deemed stainless up to the blocking of access to the road.

In addition to the latent psychosis, deriving precisely from the collapses, the paths to take to get to via Dettori, often uphill, do not entice either Cagliari citizens or tourists. And at Easter – it is the fear of the exhibitors – numerous arrivals will start again, even from the peninsula and from abroad.

A dossier for culpable disaster has been opened in recent days in the Public Prosecutor's Office. And in the Regional Council the aim is to present a shared amendment with the forecast of a sum of 3 to 5 million for structural interventions and refreshments for traders. But the news of the stop to the appraisals due to the delay of the visa by the Superintendency seems at least curious. Not just to the ears of the residents.
