“ Dear Mayor , in the light of our interlocutions and having taken note of the new majorities in the City Council , I am reminding you of my mandate as Councilor . I take this opportunity to thank you, the council, the council and all the staff of the institution for the effective collaboration. Thank you. Ad maiora ". With these words Andrea Floris , councilor for sport of the Municipality of Cagliari , at the Udc quota resigned, handing over to the Mayor the delegation of sports activities, assets and taxes.

An act of political correctness by the young UDC exponent (who took 308 votes in the 2019 elections) after the lack of support from the four directors Aurelio Lai, Roberta Perra, Marcello Piras and Antonello Angioni who,   landed under the aegis of Sardinia, on 10 August they gave birth to the “Solinas Presidente” group.

The four, who already claimed greater visibility and political weight, last week sent a very specific political signal to the mayor Paolo Truzzu by making the city council lack the quorum.

They claim a bigger role in the ruling coalition with one post in the bargain. The name they will probably give to the Mayor to express their representative in the executive could be that of Fioremma Landucci, 67, medical director of the ASL of Cagliari.
