Two of them entered, after having forced the entrance on Via del Pozzetto: they slung the safe with a nozzle from the fire-fighting system and loaded it onto a car that they had parked outside, before disappearing into the night.

The official loot from the robbery carried out in the Super Pan branch in Quartiere del Sole, Cagliari, is around six thousand euros: the facts date back to last November 7th but the news has only leaked out in these hours. The investigations are in the hands of the Carabinieri.

The criminals acted shortly before dawn and their action was lightning-fast: everything happened in less than ten minutes. They entered through a door that had just been forced open and pulled a car over to the entry point.

After dragging the safe, they lifted it and put it in the trunk of the car. The two thieves have not been found so far.

But according to leaks, another coup had been attempted using the same methods in another market: that time it failed.
