“From shed blood to donated blood”: this is the name of the awareness initiative that landed in Cagliari today. In Piazza del Carmine, the case containing what remains of Giovanni Falcone's escort car was displayed, the armored Croma in which the Palermo judge was traveling together with his wife, Francesca Morvillo, on the day of the Capaci attack.

The initiative involves DonatoriNati, the State Police and the Fire Department, to raise awareness of young people and citizens about the legality and culture of blood donation.

The remains of the car, which has the code name of the escort, namely Quarto Savona Quindici, to remember the officers killed in the attack – Antonio Montinaro, Rocco Di Cillo and Vito Schifani – will also be exhibited in Sassari and Oristano over the next two days.
