The “Ugo Foscolo” school in Viale Marconi was closed due to mice.

The mayor of Cagliari signed the ordinance at the request of the school director Daniela Montisci to allow the disinfestation of the premises.

Stop classes from 11th to 18th January inclusive, children will be able to return to school on the 19th.

The company ProService Spa is in charge of the rodent control, which will be followed by the ventilation and cleaning of the premises: work will begin on January 11th at 8.30am, finishing scheduled for the 18th, also at 8.30am.

The disinfestation became necessary "to protect public safety" after the discovery of "biological material attributable to rats" inside the building.
